Infamous tuner G-Power has shown us what its new package for the BMW X6 M looks like. We’ve often criticized both the X5 M and X6 M for being too inconspicuous compared to their direct rivals, and G-Power has made sure none of that happens with their new package.
Changes have included a new front skirt, large air intakes, a carbon fibre bonnet and improved ventilation for the engine. Side views feature new side sills as well as new 11x23 and 12x23 aluminium wheels with 315/25 ZR 23 high-performance Michelin tyres. Suspension was lowered by 30mm.
That carbon fibre power dome is hiding a nuclear power plant based on the 4.4-litre twin turbo V8 engine. G-Power has remapped the ECU (electronic control unit) to force out a massive 533kW at 6000rpm, and 890Nm of torque at a very low 1500rpm. It’s more powerful than the new Lamborghini Aventador! Claims are for a 0 – 100km/h time of 4.2 seconds and a top speed of over 300km/h. Don’t try that on the N1.
