Transportation technology today is way beyond our imagination that vehicles today, including cars, motorbikes, and jet planes, offer advanced technology that will give people the utmost benefit. Take cars as an example, many car brands in the market offer cars with various specifications that are very difficult to resist. The 2012 Toyota Camry is one those hi-tech cars that is definitely worth buying. It is a midsize sedan that is powered by a 2.5 liter four cylinder engine. The coolest thing about this engine is that it is supported with electric motor and battery, and they are designed to work well in tandem. Overall, the engine is predicted to be similar as the 7th generation of the Toyota Camry. The fuel rating itself is pretty economical, which is 21 miles per gallon for city driving and 31 miles per gallon for highway driving. The 2012 Toyota Camry will maintain similar exterior size as its predecessor. The design of the exterior underwent minor changes; it features a revamped front fascia with new headlights and better looking side sills. On the other hand, it is expected to feature a roomy cabin, which is one of the main selling points of this car. The dimension of the car is approximately 4810 mm x 1825 mm x 1470 mm. Other features of the cars include anti lock disc brakes, side airbags for passenger sitting at the front seat, as well curtain airbags on the sides for both passengers at the front and at the back.

All in all, we can tell that the new Camry will stay true to the series’ mission as a spacious family sedan. The car will hit the road in style, due to its sporty look and advanced performance. In the official 2012 Toyota Camry teaser video released earlier this month, Akio Toyoda (President and CEO of Toyota Motor Corporation) promises the car to be “the best Camry ever” and “a remarkable car in terms of handling, safety, and fuel economy.” The car itself will be officially released later this Fall. The 2011 edition was the best-selling car in the U.S. last year, so the new edition is expected to retain that title. The 2012 Toyota Camry is one of the most awaited cars of this year due to its great performance and style as well as the fact that it is manufactured by one of the best and leading car brands in the world.

The 2012 Toyota Camry Models

It is speculated that like the previous edition, the new Toyota Camry is available in four models, namely the entry level CE, LE, the sporty SE and XLE. The entry level CE model is equipped with an engine that is able to deliver approximately 158 horsepower and 161 pound-feet of torque. It can achieve 60 miles per hour in only 7.5 seconds. This model also features a five speed manual transmission, 16 inch tires, air conditioning, CD player, six speakers, a steering wheel that is equipped with a tilt and telescoping system, cruise control, height adjustable driver’s seat, and power windows. If you are only looking for the basic features, then the CE model would be good enough for you. On the other hand, the three other models, which are LE, SE and XLE, are equipped with a six speed manual transmission system and all the other basic features of the CE. The XLE is also expected to feature reclineable rear seatbacks to ensure passenger comfort. The fuel ratings of those three models are 19 miles per gallon for city driving and 28 miles per gallon for highway driving. The CE and LE models have 15 cubic feet of trunk space whilst SE and XLE models have 14.5 cubic feet of trunk space.

In terms of security, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has conducted crash tests on the 2012 Toyota Camry. The result is amazing. It earned the perfect point of five stars in all tests. It features Toyota’s new Star Safety System, which provides better vehicle control. The system is a combination of Toyota’s Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) antiskid system, antilock braking system (ABS), and traction control. The rear part of the car, the look comes up very simple and neat. This rear look can be found in entry level and LE models.
