I stopped by to see the Cadillac Ciel concept today, and I have to say it's quite impressive in person. I wasn't totally sold on the early press photos; they alternately suggested a long-wheelbase wannabe Bentley limo and one of those horrific gangstered-out XLRs. However, in person, it works. Completely.
I know General Motors said this won't be its next flagship, but it could do worse than to add a little bit of flow back into the design language, as it's done here. Don't get me wrong, the angular CTS coupe is unique and aggressive and speaks its own language -- but, hey, I likes me a bit of curve in my cars, and sometimes that vehicle looks like a geometry problem.
