An Android based tablet is to be launched in the Indian market as per News Tonight reports. Lakshmi Access Communication Systems, a Bangalore based company along with reliance’s Tab 3G and Bharti Enterprise’s Beetle Magiq are ready to release this tablet as low as Rs. 5000 or equivalent of $99. Lakshmi Access Communication Systems explained about the fantastic features of this device.
It is going to be available in seven inch, eight inch and ten inch model tablets. It runs Android 2.2 FroYo System with a recalcitrant touch screen. There will be four product category names like Pepper, Tamarind, Mirchi and Paprika.
Magnum Pepper Tablet PC is offering an 800MHz processor that includes 256 MB of RAM, Wi-Fi connectivity, USB 2.0 port and an RJ45LAN port for wired internet connectivity and the Micro SD card up to 32 GB which has a front facing camera along with 2GB of storage that is built-in. These are the key features of this android tablet.
With taxes, it may go up to a price of Rs.6, 250 in India. Lakshmi Access Communication Systems are planning to set up about ten thousand showrooms across the country in a year. This can be a mix of franchised and owned units. The franchisee owner will perhaps not have to file for sales tax as they have a central billing system.
